Advancing Trypanosoma Parasite Research Through High-Resolution and Big-Data Methodologies

VAPPER was developed by a team of researchers from the University of Liverpool, led by Sara and her PhD supervisor Dr Andrew Jackson.

It allows automated profiling of variant antigens in Trypanosoma congolense and Trypanosoma vivax.

It is implemented in Python and is accessible via Github. If you want to learn more about VAPPER, check this blog post.
